줄거리
도시 위를 돌아다니는 까만 먹구름. 그 구름에 사는 까만 몬스터들은 사람들의 모자를 사냥하여 자신의 집으로 사용한다.

첫 사냥에 나선 막내 까만돌이는 아저씨의 실크햇, 아가씨의 하트모자를 손쉽게 사냥하지만 그들의 모자는 매우 불편하다.

결국 까만돌이는 담벽에 낙서하고 있는 소녀를 발견하고 그녀의 빨간 모자를 억지로 빼앗아 구름으로 돌아온다.

소녀의 모자로 집을 만든 까만돌이는 모자 안에서 꾸는 소녀의 꿈이 점차 좋아진다.

한참의 시간이 흘러 다시 소녀의 도시 위에 구름이 머물게 되고 까만돌이는 다시 그 소녀를 찾아가지만 훌쩍 커버린 소녀는 까만돌이를 전혀 기억하지 못하는데...... (Black monsters living in Black Clouds make their houses by hunting hats of people below the clouds. The youngest black monster, Blacky takes hats from an old gentleman and a young lady in his first hunt, but only finds that their hats are uncomfortable to live in. Finally, he snatches a red hat from a girl, who recognizes him. While using her hat as his house, he eventually comes to love her memories contained in the red hat. Times passes by and Blacky visits the girl again. But she has grown up and no longer recognizes him.)

연출의도. 처음 느꼈던 엄마의 따뜻한 품, 소중했던 나만의 놀이, 어떤 장소. 지금은 기억해 내기 힘들다.

까맣게 잊어버린 이유는 뭘까… 도대체 무엇이 내게서 그 기억을 빼앗아 간 것일까… 까만 구름이 몰려와요는 유년기의 꿈과 순수했던 기억들에 대한 상실의 안타까움과 회복에 대한 기대를 이야기하고자 한다.

(The sweet childhood memories; mothers warm cuddling, my favorite amusements and precious places. Now, it is hard to remember them. Whats the reason? What took those precious memories away? This short animation titled The Black Clouds are Coming tries to express the sadness caused by losing the innocent dreams and memories of the childhood, and to show anticipation for their recoveries.)
