줄거리
20대에 막 들어선 젊은이들의 방황과 절망, 사랑의 고통이 감각적인 어조로 이야기된다.

이복누이를 사랑하는 찬우, 그를 연모하는 미영, 그들의 비열한 친구, 민철은 우정과 치기, 연민의 굴레에서 서로 얽히고 설킨다.

그들에게 도시의 밤은 한없이 지루하며 절망스럽고 쾌락은 폭력적인 양상을 띄고 있다.

(It is a film about young men who are in their early 20s, wandering around, being in despair, and feeling the pain of love. Chan-woo loves his step sister. Me-young loves Chan-woo. Min-cheol is their friend. Their relationship is entangled with friendship, foolishness, and compassion.)
연출의도. 90년대의 젊음은 즉불적이다.

스피드와 광기를 사랑하는 세대의 고통스런 성장담을 이야기하고 싶었다.

하지만 원래의 의도는 장르영화의 관습적인 한계에 상당부분 손상되었으며 영화적 단점을 동시녹음과 촬영 등의 기술적 노력으로 극복하려 했다.

상업영화적 컨벤션을 독립영화적으로 소화시키는 데 무리가 따랐던 것 같다.

(I wanted to tell a painful coming-of-age story about a generation that loves speed and madness. But I had to modify many of my original intentions to follow genre convention. Also I have tried to overcome the technical difficulties like shooting and recoding sync sound. Yet, the result is not as good as commercial films.)
