줄거리
최성훈의 는 아파트 창문들이 반복되어 하나의 거대한 아파트 블록을 이룬 작업이다.
조명이 켜진 아파트 내부에는 사람 형상의 픽셀 몇 개가 움직이고 있고 관객들은 이미지의 움직임을 따라 점차 이미지에 접근하려고 한다.
그러나 픽셀의 최소 단위로 축소된 형상 때문에 관객들은 결코 이미지의 의미에 접근하지 못하며 오히려 픽셀의 작은 방에 갇혀 관음증적인 시선의 욕망과 폐쇄공포증을 동시에 경험하게 된다.
Choi, Sung-Hoon’s is a gigantic apartment building consisting of windows. Moving inside of the well-lit apartments are a few human-shaped pixels and viewers try to follow their movements. However, the images reduce to the size of the smallest pixel, and accordingly, viewers cannot read the meanings the images convey and are rather confined to the pixels, thus experiencing both a voyeuristic desire and claustrophobia.
