줄거리
60세의 쟈니는 뉴욕에서 텍사스로 가는 고속버스 안에 앉아 있다.

자신의 ‘Lady Love 에게 청혼을 하기 위해 가는 것이다.

전 재산을 털어 산 카우보이모자, 부츠, 그리고 청혼 반지... 하지만, 막상 그녀와 텍사스에서 보낸 며칠간은 그가 기대했던 것과는 다르게 진행되는데... (Johnny, 60-year-old man from New York, is on a Greyhound bus. He wears a brand-new cowboy hat, neckerchief, pointy-toed boots, and has a wedding ring in his hand. He is going to propose to his Lady Love in Texas. However, his stay with her in Texas goes quite differently from what he expected.)
연출의도. 이 영화는 수십 년을 쓸쓸하게 지내 온 노인이 자신의 인생의 마지막 사랑을 찾아가는 이야기입니다.

실제 있었던 사건의 극화를 통해 만들어진 이 이야기를 통해, 사랑의 힘이란 얼마나 사람의 이성을 마비시킬 수 있는 지를 얘기하고 싶었습니다.

(The script was fictionalized from a news article about a Texan woman who had lured a mentally ill old man into her house and murdered him for insurance money. I wanted to portray the irrational strength of infatuation that can overwhelm a persons ability to protect himself from danger.)
